NiHard
Ni-Hard is a chrome and nickel alloy casting that can withstand extreme wear and tear. The most popular casting alloy is Ni-Hard 4 and is used in raw material processing industries (dredging, cement, stone, coal), especially where abrasive wear occurs due to grinding, pumping and transportation of heavy loads.
White solidified cast iron is a type of cast iron with a high carbon content. Nihard is a type obtained by adding alloys such as nickel and chromium to this white solidified cast iron. These alloys improve the mechanical properties of iron and increase its wear resistance.
Nihard is often used in the production of wear-resistant parts. It is especially preferred in industrial equipment operating under the influence of wear and impact. Example usage areas are:
- In the construction of parts subject to wear such as crushers, crushers and conveyors in the mining industry.
- In parts such as mills, grinders and conveyors in the cement industry.
- In blades, pins and other wear parts in agricultural machinery.
- It is used in the metallurgical industry in parts such as rolling rolls, grinders and mixers.
Nihard is considered an important material in industrial applications with its properties such as high wear resistance, high hardness and impact resistance.
