Characteristics of GS38

GS-38 is a cast iron standard widely used in Germany. GS-38 cast iron produced according to this standard has certain mechanical and chemical properties. Some typical features of the GS-38 are:

  1. Chemical Composition : The typical chemical composition of GS-38 cast iron can generally include approximately 3.4% carbon, 2.0% silicon, 0.8% manganese, 0.5% phosphorus, and 0.1% sulfur. These components determine the mechanical properties and casting properties of iron.
  2. Strength Properties : GS-38 cast iron has a certain compressive strength and tensile strength. These values ​​may vary depending on casting conditions and cooling rate, but generally have intermediate strength levels.
