Cast Steel

Cast steel is a type of steel obtained by combining iron with carbon and other alloys in certain proportions. The casting process generally occurs by shaping molten steel by pouring it into suitable molds.

Cast steel can have a variety of mechanical and chemical properties and is often used in special applications. Uses may include:

  1. Machinery parts: Cast steel is widely used in industrial machinery, motors, gears and other mechanical parts.
  2. Construction and building industry: It can be used in structural parts that require high strength, such as structural support elements, bridges and cranes.
  3. Rail industry: Cast steel is preferred in railroad wheels, rail fasteners, and other railroad parts.
  4. Maritime industry: Various cast steel parts are used in the construction of ships and marine equipment.
  5. Oil and gas industry: Cast steel is commonly used in pipelines, well equipment, and other oil and gas processing equipment.

In general, cast steel is an important construction material for many industrial applications with its properties such as high strength, wear resistance and machinability.
